Defend Ur Base With Anime is a Roblox tower defense game by developer One Billion Six Seven. You summon anime fighters, merge duplicates to level them up, and defend your base against endless waves of enemies. The game features a trait rolling system, element wheel, merge progression, and special events like the ongoing Bleach Part 2 (starting June 13). This guide takes you from your first minute in the game to clearing wave 20+ consistently.
Understanding the Game's Core Loop
Before we get into step-by-step instructions, it helps to understand what the game expects from you:
- Summon animes by spending reroll currency at the gacha machine
- Merge duplicates of the same anime to make them stronger
- Deploy your animes on the map to defend against waves
- Farm reroll currency from waves and daily quests
- Roll for better animes using that currency
- Repeat — each cycle makes your base stronger
This loop continues until you clear wave 20, then wave 30, then wave 40. Each milestone unlocks harder content and better rewards.
Quick Start Checklist
- Redeem every active code from our codes page.
- Merge 2 Ninja Rookees to create your first Samurai Warrior.
- Clear early waves to earn reroll currency.
- Decide: roll now or save for God-tier event.
- Check the anime tier list to plan your target units.
- Learn the element wheel (Fire > Nature > Water > Fire, Ice exists).
- Start saving for a God-tier anime roll window.
Your First Session: The Complete 30-Minute Walkthrough
Phase 1: Minutes 0-2 (Setup)
The game drops you in with a basic base layout and two Ninja Rookees. Do not touch the roll button yet. Do not explore the menus.
- Open the codes menu (look for the Twitter/Discord icon on the game screen).
- Redeem all active codes from our codes page. JUNE2026 and DUBWAMILESTONE are confirmed working as of June 2026.
- Check what rewards you got. Code rewards typically include reroll currency and boost packs.
Why redeem first: Codes give free currency that lets you roll immediately. If you start rolling before redeeming, you are leaving free rolls on the table.
Phase 2: Minutes 2-5 (First Merge)
Place your two Ninja Rookees adjacent to each other. They will auto-merge into a Samurai Warrior. This is the fastest power spike you will ever get in the game — 3x stat improvement for zero cost.
Place the Samurai Warrior at your main chokepoint. It will solo waves 1-5.
Phase 3: Minutes 5-10 (First Roll)
Now you have reroll currency from codes and from clearing wave 1. You have a choice:
| Option | What Happens | Recommended For |
|---|---|---|
| Roll 1-2 times | You get a random anime. Could be another Samurai Warrior, could be an Epic. | New players who want immediate power |
| Save everything | You keep 5-10 tokens for the next God-tier event. | Patient players who read tier lists |
| Roll 5+ times | You empty your wallet chasing something good. | Not recommended — burnout risk |
My recommendation: Roll twice. If you get Ice Mage or another A-tier unit, great. If you get another Ninja Rookie or Samurai Warrior, merge them. Then stop rolling and start saving.
Phase 4: Minutes 10-20 (Building Your Core)
By now you should have:
- 1 Samurai Warrior (guaranteed from merge)
- 1-2 additional animes from rolls (varies)
Your goal is a core of 2-3 merged units. Quality over quantity. Three level 2-3 units will clear more waves than eight level 1 units spread across the map.
Positioning tips:
- Tankier melee units go closer to the enemy spawn
- Ranged units and crowd control (Ice Mage) go behind
- If you have a God-tier unit, it goes in the middle of your defense line
Phase 5: Minutes 20-30 (Saving Mode)
By now your defense is stable. Stop rolling and start saving reroll currency.
- Complete daily wave completions for more currency
- Check our codes page daily for new codes
- Review the anime tier list to know which God-tier anime to target (Void Reaper or Dragon Knight)
- Wait for a special roll window (announced by @OneBillionSixSeven on X/Twitter)
Understanding the Element Wheel
Elements matter more than most new players realize:
- Fire beats Nature: Samurai Warrior gets bonus damage against early-game enemies
- Nature beats Water: Mid-game element pairing
- Water beats Fire: Situational, appears in later waves
- Ice beats Fire: Ice Mage advantage against common mid-game enemies
- Dragon beats most: Dragon Knight's hybrid element is versatile
- Void beats everything: Void Reaper ignores all resistances
Check enemy composition before each wave and position your units accordingly. A Fire anime against Nature enemies deals roughly 25% more damage than usual.

Common Beginner Mistakes
- Spending rerolls on C-tier animes: Only roll when you can afford to chase something worthwhile.
- Not redeeming codes: Many players miss free reroll currency from daily-expiring codes.
- Building too many weak units: 3 merged units at level 2+ outperform 8 level 1 units.
- Ignoring traits: Always check a new anime's trait. A Blue trait on a God-tier unit is a keeper.
- Merging your last copy: Never merge your only copy of a good anime unless you have a spare.
- Saving forever: After accumulating 10+ reroll tokens, it is time to take a shot at something good.
- Not understanding trait inheritance: Bad trait on your first God roll is not the end — future copies can fix it through merging.
What to Do After Wave 20
Clearing wave 20 means you are past the beginner stage. Your next goals:
- Replace all B-tier units with at least A-tier.
- Get one God-tier or OP-tier anime (Void Reaper or Dragon Knight).
- Farm Bleach Part 2 event (June 13) for limited rewards.
- Start coordinating traits: Your main DPS should have Blue or better.
- Learn advanced positioning: Element advantages, chokepoint stacking, ultimate timing.
